Suzuki Book 3 Practice Boxes
When a student begins a new piece in the Suzuki literature, most teachers generally assign a section or two as a "preview spot" because it has a new trick that must be mastered to feel comfortable with the piece. I call these places "Practice Boxes" because - in addition to being important when starting a piece - honing these tricks throughly while reviewing is key to establishing a strong, effective violin technique.
